Food Pavilion Schedule for February
Join En2action for its pop-up series at the India Basin Waterfront Park Food Pavilion (900 Innes Avenue) this February.
Savor Her Flavors will take over the weekends, serving up mouthwatering soul food on Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. through February 23. Chef Asia Harris specializes in classics like fried chicken, Cajun pasta, and dirty rice, blending traditional family recipes with her own unique flair. Her passion for cooking was ignited in her grandmother’s kitchen, and she continues to bring those rich flavors to the table.
On Mondays through February 24 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., you can start your week right with an assortment of drinks and pastries from Ujamaa Kitchen.
Rocking the Boat Open Houses in February
Join Rocking the Boat (RTB) for its February open houses for students and their families at the Shop Building at India Basin Waterfront Park (900 Innes Avenue). These event are an opportunity to tour the shop, see the boats and equipment, and learn more about RTB programming before joining. They will take place on the Wednesdays of February 19 and 26 from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. For more information, click this link.
Job Info Sessions at Shipwright's Cottage on February 20 & 27
Come out for job information sessions with the A. Philip Randolph Institute (APRI) at the India Basin Waterfront Park community room in Shipwright's Cottage (900 Innes Avenue) this February. They will take place on Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and connect attendees with Laborers Union Local 261 and Family Equity Partners on February 20 and Mission Hiring Hall on February 27.
