Hip Hop in the Park: Pop Out at the Point on September 29
Over the last year, Hip Hop for Change (HH4C) has been hosting its Hip Hop in the Park Initiative at the Community Innovation Lab in India Basin Shoreline Park. Youth participants from Bayview-Hunters Point worked on MCing, DJing/Beatmaking, Graffiti, Dance, and Hip Hop Fashion.
These youth will now show what they learned at HH4C's Pop Out at the Point event at India Basin Shoreline Park (Hunters Point Boulevard and Hawes Street) on Sunday, September 29 from 1 to 5 p.m. The event will feature live performances from local rap artists Lil Kayla and Prezi among others, along with participant youth showcases and live art.
This program is supported by a grant from the San Francisco Foundation, in partnership with the California Arts Council, as well as the India Basin Waterfront Park project partners. For more information, click here: https://tinyurl.com/4tpwzvy7
